From First Call to First Breakthrough

A clear, structured process — so you know exactly what to expect from day one.

The Process

Five Steps to Real, Lasting Progress

Every student follows the same structured journey — starting with understanding where they are, and ending with measurable, sustained improvement.

1
Step One

Free Consultation

It starts with a conversation — no forms, no fees, no pressure. We spend 15–20 minutes on a call so we can understand your student's situation: which course they're in, what's not clicking, what their goals are, and when they need to see results.

This call is also your chance to ask questions, understand how we work, and decide whether Discover 360 is the right fit. There's no obligation to enroll.

Step Two

Skills Assessment

Before any tutoring begins, we run a targeted diagnostic to identify exactly where the gaps are. Not just in the current course — but in prerequisite concepts that may be silently undermining performance right now.

This isn't a quiz to grade the student. It's a map. Every wrong answer or missed concept tells us something important about where to focus time and energy.

Step Three

Custom Learning Plan

Using the diagnostic results, we build a personalized roadmap for your student. The plan prioritizes gaps in order of impact — so we fix the most damaging holes first and work outward from there.

The plan isn't rigid. As the student progresses, we update it. If something new surfaces, we adjust. If they move faster than expected, we advance the timeline.

Step Four

Weekly Tutoring Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes, one-on-one or in a small group, with your dedicated tutor. Every session has a clear agenda tied to the learning plan — but there's always room to pause, re-explain, and go deeper when something isn't fully clicking.

We don't read from a script or hand students a worksheet and walk away. Every minute is interactive — the student is thinking, working, and building understanding in real time.

Progress Reports & Check-ins

Parents receive regular progress updates — not vague summaries, but specific notes on what was covered, what improved, and what's next. We want you to feel confident that sessions are delivering, not just happening.

We also do periodic parent check-in calls to discuss the bigger picture: grades in class, upcoming tests, shifts in goals, or anything else worth talking through.

Honest Answers to the Questions Parents Ask First

How Quickly Will I See Results?

Most students notice increased confidence within 2–3 sessions. Grade improvement typically shows up within 4–6 weeks, depending on the size of the gap and frequency of sessions.

📅

How Often Should We Schedule?

We recommend 1–2 sessions per week for steady progress. For students preparing for an upcoming test or exam, 2–3 sessions per week is more effective.

🏠

What Does My Student Need?

For online sessions: a device with camera, internet, and their current math textbook or notes. For in-person: just themselves and their materials. We bring everything else.

What if a Session Doesn't Work for My Schedule?

Life happens. We ask for 24 hours notice to reschedule — and we make it easy to do so. Our scheduling is flexible enough to accommodate most school & family schedules.
